For the local inhabitants, the market is not just a place for shopping for everything needed, but also a cultural experience and an opportunity to meet a partner. That is one of the reasons why many of the Sapa residents headed to the market wear the best clothes they have. Sapa is not only the name of the whole region, it is also a town in the mountains which is definitely worthy of a visit.
